The temple’s exterior is overgrown with layers of moss, lichen and crawling vine just thin enough to see the stone carved symbols and patterns peeking through the mass of foliage. Littered with centuries of fallen leaves and desiccated ferns, the soil around the temple walls is a rich, dark loam bursting with freshly germinated sprouts on their way to join the lacelike canopy above.
